Tourism in the Thymerais

The Thymerais is a pleasant bucolic countryside where green forests, agricultural landscapes and pastures cohabit.

Surrounded by many hiking trails, set out nose to the wind on the crisscross of roads. Enter history by visiting the Château de Maillebois and the Château de la Hallière. Visit Verneuil-sur-Avre, an ancient fortress during the 100-year-old war and its ancient streets along the Avre and the Iton.

Chartres tourism.

Chartres, of course, its cathedral with its emblematic roof visible for miles and its mysterious labyrinth. Whilst here do not miss the illuminations that bring the city to light and especially the Cathedral. Come on

Dreux tourism.

Visit the Chapel of Saint-Louis built by the Duchess of Orleans, a necropolis with sculptures by the greatest sculptors of the 19th century, then go to the façade of the Dreux Belfry dating from the 16th century before entering the Saint-Pierre church Of Dreux adorned with very beautiful stained-glass windows.
